A Senior grad portrait is taken anytime during the graduating year. It is not always necessary to come formal, as a casual approach is perfect if you are not the dressing up sort. It is more relaxing to have the photos taken on another day rather than the day of the ceremonies as your day is scheduled with hair appointments and meeting friends and the formal dinner.
